About not remembering your human potential

Like growing a plant

You take care of the conditions

You clear away the weeds

Water it

Timely and in right amounts

The plant will unfold

It cannot help itself

Flourishing is its nature

In the same way, your very nature

The seed of our existence

Is growth into ever more beauty, wisdom, joy

Please make sure to take care

Of your heart, of your mind

Hurry, fear and frustration

Come from misunderstanding

Just like a plant can't be made to grow

By pulling at its leaves or branches

Fulfillment and happiness 

Cannot be insisted upon

But arise naturally from right actions

It's how life works

It responds to our behavior and choices

Why does it often not seem to be this way?

Because our efforts are fragmented

Our focus is weak

Our vision blurred

We haven’t made up our minds

We haven’t remembered the beauty of the flower

We’ve forgotten that prosperity and love and clarity  

Are within us right from the start

And so a breeze of wind 

Easily brings doubt and distress

Concentrate your efforts

With patience and trust 

The results will be vast

Like sun rays falling through a lens

Will cause a big fire in a stack of hay
